Modaprima has now become the international market’s key fair for medium and large scale retailers.

A point of reference for fashion created and produced for the large scale retailers who meet in Florence to present their latest products to an international audience, Modaprima will turn the spotlights on around 100 collections, mainly produced by Italian companies along with a few selected European manufacturers that specialize in this production segment.

Modaprima will be showcasing a selection of collections produced in Italy but with a broad international appeal created for a dynamic and constantly evolving retail trade. Pitti Immagine boosts this international slant through promotional and communication initiatives - carried out in close synergy with ICE (The Italian Trade Agency for the Promotion of Businesses abroad) -aiming to intercept a qualified and global public of members of the trade.

The last edition of Modaprima welcomed a total of over 1,600 buyers, with around 800 coming from over 50 different countries (led by Japan, followed by Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Belgium, United States, South Korea, Greece, Russia, France, Germany, Ireland, Austria, Lithuania, United Kingdom, Canada, Hong Kong, Estonia, Israel and Ukraine).
